MARK ROTHKO INSPIRED PASTELS
Go Van Gogh! Kids used soft pastels to explore Rothko's art style. They did an excellent job with their color pairings and design. Pastels are a challenging medium even for the pros and these kids had no reservation and had fun while learning some great techniques.
SPOTLIGHT ARTIST - KANDINSKY
Shapes, color and lines create a symphony in Kandinsky's work. My little artists made visual music of their own and had lots of fun doing it!

By Invitation, taught one semester of art classes to Gibson Middle School for the Visiting Artist Program for Southern Nevada Wolf Trap Early Learning Through the Arts, part of The Smith Center Education and Outreach Dept.
Gibson Middle School had lost their visual arts program and this was a class added to fulfill their elective. Funded by the Smith Center For The Performing Arts.
